Short: Deletes unwanted mail from server unread Author: simon@studio.woden.com (Simon N Goodwin) Uploader: simon studio woden com (Simon N Goodwin) Type: comm/mail Version: 5.3 Architecture: generic An icon-launched script that automatically identifies spam and deletes it from your ISP's POP3 server, or moves it to a designated quarantine folder in YAM. This version applies more than 130 rules to sift out spam from mails you want to read, and can quickly be taught new rules by editing plain text files. It deletes around 90 per cent of current spams (worms, junk mail offers, viruses etc) without needing to download more than a fraction of the messages. It supports multiple POP3 email accounts and comes with comprehensive English text, AmigaGuide and HTML documentation, English and French localised scripts, and optional extensions for YAM, Miami and UAE integration. CHANGES FOR VERSION 5:3 This update adds support for fuzzy matching and can identify common spams just from their MIME header. The rules have been revised and more than 30 new rules have been added; each of those has identified at least four spam batches over the last year. Minor bugfixes, extensions and optimisations have also been applied.
