Short: AirPrint/IPP printer driver for Amiga Author: Andreas "Andiweli" Stuermer Uploader: Andreas "Andiweli" Stuermer Type: driver/print Version: 1.0 Architecture: m68k-amigaos >= 3.0.0 AmiAirPrint is a native AirPrint/IPP printer solution for classic AmigaOS. It integrates with the standard printer.device system and prints directly to IPP/AirPrint network printers without a PC print server or CUPS. Main features: - AmigaOS 3.0+ and Motorola 68000 compatible - PWG Raster graphics printing through printer.device - color and monochrome output - Portrait and Landscape - paper/media, quality and color-mode selection - 10-100% graphics scaling and optional centering - GadTools preferences program for AmigaOS 3.0/3.1 - ReAction preferences program for AmigaOS 3.2+ - locale.library/catalog support with built-in English fallback - AmiAirPrint.cd included for third-party translations - IPP capability query and test page Verified with version 1.0: - Personal Paint color graphics printing - MultiView graphics printing - IBrowse text-only printing - built-in monochrome test page Requirements: - a TCP/IP stack providing bsdsocket.library - an IPP/AirPrint-capable network printer reachable by IPv4 address After installation, select AirPrint as the printer driver and Parallel as the port in the normal AmigaOS Printer preferences. Parallel is only a required compatibility selection; AmiAirPrint sends its data directly through airprint.device. Known limitations in version 1.0: - numeric IPv4 printer address only; no automatic printer discovery - IBrowse's printer path is text-only and may print image ALT placeholders - PRD_RAWWRITE is not treated as portable text output Project and source code ----------------------- https://github.com/Andiweli/AmiAirprint License ------- AmiAirPrint is released under the MIT License.
