Short: missile defence in 3D (+AMOS source) Author: muddle@voyager.co.nz (David Lawrence) Uploader: muddle voyager co nz (David Lawrence) Type: game/misc Requires: A1200 minimal, better with fast ram or accelerator. Architecture: m68k-amigaos The archive includes:- - a compiled workbench version for non-amos users. - amos source code.. for users with the 'Voodoo' 3d extension. - the necessary sample banks, screens, 3d objects. The program expects all the above archive to be 'extracted' with it's sub directories into the same main directory ( any name) Please advise author if things don't appear to be working. Programmed for PAL but should detect NTSC and switch to a quick compromise screen arrangement. ( though it may be 'flickery') If it doesn't switch it will still operate, but without the map and 'hits recorded' visible . Scream abuse at author if it doesn't detect. ( author will panic) ------------- The main program should have a fun element for at least some people. It is an old idea put into 3d mode where you can swivel 360', track up and down, anticipate, and try to shoot down attacking jets with missiles. But the archive is mainly put here so that other amos programmers can freely modify, improve on, (or just have a good laugh at) one persons attempt to overcome rotation limits in amos 3d. See README in main archive for more detail on that. Uploaded May 98 ..............
