Short: Hit the ball with the paddle... Architecture: m68k-amigaos PowerPong v1.1 - Powerpong was developed by Kevmo Sheller! His ideology was simple: Create a game where Flashy graphics and sounds ADDED to the game, rather than BECOME the game. As you can guess, Powerpong is a version of the old classic, Pong. But this has many more features: 1 player, 2 player, or 2 players working together to beat the computer. Digitized sounds, metallic style graphics, bumpers, bonuses and five levels of computer difficulty to entertain! And, if you register the game for only $3 (Big spender) You will be mailed Powerpong v1.2 and Buckets and Bandits (a throwback to the old KABOOM! On everyone's favorite Atari 2600..) Mail to Kevmo just for the fun of it at: Kevins@file02.ecgf.uakron.edu It has come to my attention that Powerpong does not work properly with an excellerated A3000. It works, but the options screen does not, and the game is way to fast for a beginner. Since the options screen does not, it automatically selects two-player mode. Thusly skipping player vs computer option, or player-player vs computer. For now, the only thing I can say is, play it on a 2000 or 500. This version is Powerpong v1.1 Powerpong v1.2 has been developed, but this version will still not work properly on an A3000. Further developments of Powerpong is questionable. To me, this game is quite old. A totally revamped version, written in a different language, with more options, and compatibility with ALL Amigas would be the only resolve to the problem. I do not plan on going back and updating this particular version of Powerpong. I've begun writing other games, and this one seems very unimportant in the grand scheme of things. I'm sorry. But hopefully you'll have a chance to see some of my new projects. These put Powerpong to shame... Kevmo Sheller
