Short: Lightwave 3D Plugin Collection Author: Various Authors Uploader: emufan-eab yandex com Type: gfx/3d Version: 0.1 Requires: Newtek Lightwave 3D 020+ Architecture: m68k-amigaos Distribution: Aminet Overview: - Lightwave 3D 5.0 Layout and Modeler Plugins I build from sources I found on the net. Initially made for intel, mac or sgi machines, running Lightwave. They have been build with sas/c 6.59 and the LW SDK 5.x Some were provided in C++ and had to be transformed to C, since they did not compile or did not work at all, when building from the C++ source code. Many thanks to alkis on the EAB board. Some plugins came without source code, were build already for the Amiga version of Lightwave. I've added them too. - Content: - Build from source code: - Layout Plugins: Bman-RGBShift Bman-Fresnel Shader Bman-Blinker Shader Bman-AlphaClip Bman-InfraredVision Bman-Mandel Bman-Gradient Bman-Gooze Kevman VidLines Kevman Lampy Kevman ImProc Kevman Vmixer Kevman Vhud Fader Shader - based on Bman-Blinker Fader Shader 2 WIP - based on Bman-Blinker BlotchGUI ObjectTest - Modeler Plugins: DEMScape (incl. vdem2stm.lha converter) DEMShade PointPlane SpiralPath ParticleClone Absolute AreaVolume Gears PointSpread Rotate Scale Bubbles - already build for the Amiga: DBP - Distance Between Points - Modeler BBox - Bounding Box - Modeler Taut - Modeler Unwrap - Modeler BlackAndWhite - Layout DofToy - Layout Generic - Additional information: - Fader Shader (2) is an attempt by myself, to make those surface attributes animate over time, instead of just blinking. - some Modeler plugins were rewritten in C, based on arexx macros. - Installation: - you have to add the #?.p files either in Layout or Modeler: Layout --> Options tab --> Add Plug-Ins Modeler -> Objects tab --> Custom --> Add Plugin - after adding a plugin(s) quit Modeler or Layout, so the plugin info is written to the config file. do this before you open a new scene or object. - Tutorial - How to write your own plugin: The.Art.of.LW.Plugins.pdf LWPanelService-Arnie.Cachelin.pdf - I made a pdf of the website and included it in this release. gradient.cpp tutorial source code is also included. I hope I did not forgot anyone. - Thanks goes to all the authors for providing their plugins including source code.
