Short: Rendered with Real3Dv2 by Vinh Le (JPEG) Author: vle@ceam.ucsd.edu Uploader: vle ceam ucsd edu Type: pix/trace Architecture: generic from included README: About the Image: 57Chevy.jpg Rendered with: Real 3Dv2 Hardware: Amiga 4000/040, 18MB RAM Render time: approximately 3 hrs. Image specification: 640 x 512, 24-bits Number of objects: 55 ( 29,304 triangles ) ( The number of objects refers to the number of "primitive" objects [ spheres, cubes, polymids, spline meshes, etc. ], not polygons. ) Settings: Render Mode Lampless Recursion 3 Anti-alias 2 Light Sampling 0 ( Probably only relevant for Real 3Dv2 users ) Notes: This object is one of the free sample objects from Viewpoint DataLabs. I obtained the object in Imagine format at SIGGRAPH '93 and converted it to Real3Dv2 using a custom converter I wrote. The colors and material properties assigned to the various parts of the car are my own, so they are not accurate of the actual Imagine data. The data was converted to triangular meshes, not spline meshes, for simplicity. Lampless mode, which does not produce shadows, was used since my 18MB machine did not have enough memory to render the image in Normal, full raytrace, mode. This image is Copyright 1993 by Vinh Le.
