Description: This program was developed mainly for people, who use also other than only english language with their computer. It makes it possible to use two keymaps in the same time and very comfortably change them whenever you need to. It changes the keymaps not the fonts ! Start: This program is startable from both Workbench or CLI. From CLI: Simply write HotMaps name_of_keymap_1 From WB: Add to Tool Types: KEYMAP1=name_of_keymap_1 if you want to see the banner Keymaps are looked for in paths: DEVS:keymaps and KEYMAPS: The best way of use is to install HotMaps in Startup-Sequence, it takes only about 17K of memory. Use: To use keymap 1 press right and left shift keys in given order To use keymap 2 change the order of keys Remove: To remove HotMaps press keys Shift+Ctrl+Q Technical description: Program should work with every type of KickStart. Developed and tested on Amiga 500 with KS1.3 and 2.0 and Amiga 1200. It changes the default keymap and keymaps of all CLI or SHELL windows. Bugs: There are some utilities for example NotePad that use other keymaps than that which are influenced by HotMaps.
