You fly an F6F Hellcat off a carrier deck: dogfight weaving Zeros, break up dive bomber attacks, call in your VF-15 wingmen for torpedo runs and fend off kamikaze planes going for the destroyer you escort. With intro sequence, mission briefings, combo scoring and a highscore table. This is the free version and contains the first three missions. It may be distributed freely. The full game is commercial and considerably larger, see https://fliegeralarm.net/. CONTENTS Fliegeralarm/ hard disk drawer - copy it anywhere, enter it and run Fliegeralarm. All the music sits in data/, so the game never asks for a disk. Fliegeralarm/ADF/ the same game as a two disk set for floppy or emulator use. Delete this drawer if you play from hard disk only. Fliegeralarm-Disk1.adf boots, holds the game Fliegeralarm-Disk2.adf title, briefing and first mission music The two disk set has no room for every music track, so the game asks for the music disk when it needs it and for the game disk afterwards. ESC skips the music for good. TECHNICAL Written in C on top of the ACE engine and cross compiled with Bartman's gcc toolchain. Native 68000 code, OCS, no fast RAM required. Needs about 1 MB of chip RAM. Tested on OCS/68000 with Kickstart 1.3.
