Star Trek: 25th Anniversary - Patch 1.2

This patch fixes and improves the Amiga AGA version of
"Star Trek: 25th Anniversary".  It works with these versions of the game:

  - German   1.1070 (20.6.94)
  - English  1.993  (29.11.93)
  - French   1.1085 (16.9.94)

After patching, the game reports itself as version 1.2.


What is fixed and improved
--------------------------

* Smooth mouse pointer
  The pointer no longer lags behind the mouse.  It now moves at once,
  however busy the game is.

* Pointer colours
  The pointers keep their colours, e.g. the red parts of the pointers on
  away missions and the red crosshair in space combat.

* Steady pointer on the bridge
  When aiming on the main viewer, the pointer no longer jitters at the
  edges of the screen area.

* No crash when quitting
  Under AmigaOS 3.2 and newer the game crashed with guru 8100 0005 when
  you quit it.  This no longer happens.

* No more stack warning
  The music no longer runs out of stack, so tools that watch the stack
  stay quiet.

Everything else - graphics, music, sound and your saved games - stays
as it was.


Requirements
------------

  - the original game, installed on hard disk
  - SPatch (included; also on Aminet: dev/misc/spatch.lha)
  - the Installer program (part of AmigaOS 3.x)


Installation
------------

Double-click "Install-Patch" and choose the drawer of the game (the one
with the program "StarTrek").  The installer checks your version, applies
the matching patch and keeps the original program as "StarTrek.orig".

To undo the patch, delete "StarTrek" and rename "StarTrek.orig" back to
"StarTrek".

This archive contains no game data; you need your own copy of the game.
