Celtic Survivors: Blood VS Rome
===============================
Gaul, 50 BC. The legions of Rome march on a small Celtic village. Only one
young warrior stands in their way: Caradog, with his great iron axe.
Celtic Survivors is an action game for the Amiga 1200 in the spirit of
Vampire Survivors. You only walk - the axe whirls round Caradog by itself
and cuts down every Roman it meets. The fallen leave their blood behind;
gather it to grow stronger. At every new level you choose one of three
gifts: for the axe, for the hero, or a weapon at his side - a sling, a
druids' circle, a wolfhound, barrels of mead. Two gifts at their top grow
into something mightier.
Features
--------
- Rome comes in waves while the day goes down: legionaries, torch-bearers,
spearmen, the testudo, centurions, riders, onagers - and at nightfall,
after fourteen minutes, Caesar himself with his guard.
- Defend the village: put out burning huts, dig pits and plant stakes
between the waves, use the well, the forge and the stone circle.
- Three heroes (Caradog, Nemain, Bran), each with an evolution of their
own, and three places: the village, the winter camp, the sacred grove.
- War cry, chests, rune stones, rain and fog, a prisoner cart to free.
- Silver and lasting gifts from the druid, ten deeds, a chronicle of every
Roman met, harder rules (Blood Moon, Fog Night, No Axe, Ironman), each
with its own high score list.
- Two players on one Amiga.
- Joystick, CD32 pad or keyboard; keys can be changed.
- English and German, with voices and battle music for each place.
