This is Version 0.1 of "Retina Mandelbrot," a Mandelbrot
set generator which outputs its graphics directly upon
the Retina graphics card for the Amiga computer. This
program branches very simplistic; not only does it not
support zooming or other nifty features such as color
cycling, but it also is not very optimized. On a 760 by 482
screen, it will take approximately ten minutes to render
a full Mandelbrot set. The program uses the so-called
"divide and conquer" algorithm.
Future improvements will include: a fully intuitionized
user interface; zooming, panning, and other gross
movement operations; and support for color cycling.
Of course, I will attempt to make this program much
faster.
