LAME is a fast high quality audio encoder.
lame_ppc is compiled for PowerPC G2+G3.
lame_vmx is compiled for G4+G5 and is a bit faster.
Note: Special PowerPC and Alitvec optimizations have been removed from
lame-3.100. If you want more speed use lame-morphos.lha for PowerPC G2+G3
or lame-3.99.5-morphos.lha for G4+G5.


Installation
------------
Copy the Executable to C:


Command Line Examples

Fixed bit rate jstereo 128kbps encoding

  lame -h sample.wav sample.mp3

Average bit rate encoding

  lame -h --abr 128 sample.wav sample.mp3

Variable bitrate, high quality

  lame -h -v sample.wav sample.mp3
