Version 1.1 - add serial (null-modem cable) support
DVBFontUpload is a program that upload teletext or OSD (system) fonts
Work with .oc2 or .fov teletext font and .oc1 or .fos system fonts.
DVBFontUpload uploading system fonts and semi-graphic symbols (program
status). Requires Nokia D-Box/MediaMaster TVSat tuner and DVB2000 firmware
(I`m use v1.82NOM) and SCSI or null-modem conect.
Usage:
FILE/A - .oc1, .oc2, .fos or .fov font file
DEVICE/K - Nokia D-Box device. Default blizzppc.device
UNIT/N - Nokia D-Box unit. Default 6.
TELETEXT/S - Teletext font update switch.
HI/S - Switch second font in .oc1 8192 file size.
SERIAL/S - Use serial null-modem cable.
BAUD/N - Serial port speed. Check serial speed in GUIDE/9/A/6
Nokia D-Box. Default 38400
Example:
> DVBFontUpload file=fonts/CoolText.fov d=cybppc.device u=2 txt
> DVBFontUpload file=fonts/LCD.oc1 d=oktagon.device u=0 hi
> DVBFontUpload file=fonts/LCD.oc1 d=serial.device u=0 baud=9600 serial
Message:
Read/Write serial errors:
1 - DevBusy, 2 - BaudMismatch, 4 - BuffError, 5 - InvParam, 6 - LineError
9 - ParityError, 11 - TimerError, 12 - BufOverflow, 13 - NoDSR, 15 - Break
CBEG Error - D-Box don`t respond "OK", check baudrate (see BAUD/N) or power
off tuner.
SCSI inquiry error - Don`t read SCSI unit info, bad device?
DVB2000 not found - bad unit or device.
Command error - serial command not available or tuner not ready.
Semi-graphics symbols (remote control, "OK" key) is copy from font file.
If You can set other symbols (working only via SCSI!) use any .fos font:
> Join Font.fos Symbol_1 TO Font.foss
> DVBFontUpload Font.foss
