Two  File  request  handlers  are  included  in this archive.  RFS is a
full-featured  request  server  for  both human and mailer calls.  RFH is a
small,  fast  request Function Host for mailers only.

    o multiple files can be sent for a MAGIC name.
    o PASSWORD protection on file areas, specific files and Magic
      filenames.
    o ACCOUNTING  support keeps track of the number requests, the number
      of files sent and the number of bytes sent to each requesting node.
    o allows exclusion of specific addresses.
    * allows exclusion of specific user names.
    + allows uses of special freqlist for specific addresses.
    + allows setting session byte limits for particular addresses.
    o Buffered access to either WPL Log or own logfile for result
      statistics.
    o Uses  freq  listing  with  full PASSWORD and MAGIC name support as
      created by RFSfreqlist, LazyList, Wfilelist, FileMGR, GKupload and
      other freqlist generators.
    o NO File I/O during processing other than reading the REQ,
      accounting data, writing the response message  and searching
      the FREQ.LST. Virtually All writes to disk are buffered and
      and deferred until after requested files are queued.
    * Configurable Header and Footnote texts added to response message.
    * Sends text file instead of mail packet for human requesters
    * FIRST TIME LETTER for callers.
    * PERSONAL  message  for  callers  can be left by sysop which will be
      included in response file on next call.
    * Reward for CallBack Verified GRAB users
    * Supports GRAB, the WPL File Request Server for Humans
    * Supports BROWSE, the WPL File Stack Browser Door
    * Supports WfreqIt, the WPL File Request Forwarder
        
    RFS  and  RFH  are also included in the SHELTER Family of FrontEnds and
Mailers distribution.
