Flashless
 =========

 This software is yet another attempt to simplify access to multimedia
 files available on Web. It consists of a set of Python scripts and is
 designed to be easily extended to support more contents in the future.
 
 Flashless is activated during normal web browsing through contextual
 menu over a link or a page and then the user can interact through
 a RequestChoice dialogue; for example, before you watch or download a
 video that is available in several resolutions, you can choose the
 quality you prefer or even cancel the process...

 As a starting point, you can enjoy:
 - Any direct link to audio and video files supported by MPlayer.
 - Most popular video aggregators such as YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion,
   Break, Current, Metacafe and others are already covered via external
   support by the "keep-tube.com" web service (for a complete list go
   to "http://keep-tube.com/supported-websites.php").
 - In addition, an unlimited number of video hosting services may be
   made accessible by developing new, dedicated internal scripts.
   See "CHANGES" below to know about any new supported websites.
 
 In general, do not expect to be able to enjoy 100% of the contents of
 any website! When you search on Google Video, keep in mind that
 currently this tool can access to result only if the corresponding
 domain is supported by "keep-tube.com" or by Flashless internally!

 
 REQUIREMENTS:
 ------------
 - Python (tested with python-2.4.4-mos_7a-final-20080123)
 - MPlayer 1.0+
 - OWB 1.3+ is the expected web browser for Flashless usage.
   
 These software distributions are MorphOS specific but there is no
 reason why Flashless can not run on any other Amiga-like system.
 However, some minor editing may be necessary to achieve this.


 CHANGES:

 v.0.15 (13.11.2009) -Fixed issue with Youtube links that caused
                      "RequestChoice" failures.
                     -Fixed compatibility issue with Python 2.5.x.

 v.0.14 (18.07.2009) -The 5 mins preview limit imposed by Veoh is not
                      so easy to bypass (...), I apologize for having
                      overlooked this aspect. This update introduces
                      a affordable workaround: pressing on "Search
                      MP4(iPhone)" button, a new OWB page will open
                      with the iPhone portal of Veoh as content. If
                      same video is also available for iPhone, the
                      link at the top of the page allows to obtain a
                      full copy of the movie!! Clicking, you will see
                      the direct link in the URL field of OWB: copy &
                      paste in MPlayer 'Open Stream...' field if you
                      do not want to download the file.
 
 v.0.13 (17.07.2009) -Special update for movie lovers ;), now we can
                      enjoy full-length movies from "www.veoh.com"!
                     -Also added support for "blip.tv".

 v.0.12 (16.07.2009) -Added 2 new modules, now also works on
                      "megavideo.com" and "sevenload.com".
                     -Even when the source page from "videocast.com"
                      contains HTML errors, the video file is
                      successfully identified now.

 v.0.11 (13.07.2009) -New website supported: "videocast.com"
                     -Improved string parsing in '_wbdialog.py'

 v.0.10 (05.07.2009) -Initial release.
