Amiget is a little shell script for downloading files from Aminet.
It uses ncftpget to grab a file from the primary Aminet mirror.

In this modern age, it can sometimes be easier to search Aminet
from a phone, tablet, or laptop, but you don't want to start up
Amiga Explorer, waste 5 minutes waiting on IBrowse or an FTP client
just to download that stupid MUI class you're missing.
This is where Amiget comes in.

If you know the filename and path to a file you want to get, use Amiget!

REQUIREMENTS:

- Internet connection
- ncftpget (available on Aminet - comm/www/ncftp.lha)

INSTALLATION AND USAGE:

To install, copy the amiget script to S: or wherever you keep your scripts.

To invoke the script:
    amiget <remotepath>

For example, to download ncftp:
    amiget comm/www/ncftp.lha

The file will be downloaded to the current folder open in the shell.
