Welcome to the first release of PPC680x0 V2.0!
Finally, PPC680x0 has become freeware, this means that anyone is allowed
to use it freely as long as the archive and contents remain in their
original state.
PPC680x0 V2.0 is not entirely finished yet, which means that there may
still be some bugs present in the program. The following limitations or
problems are known:
- PPC68k V2.0 Dynamic Cache system is only partially implemented. Therefore
it still has no effect
- The Floating Point Unit may contain some bugs
- Complex immediate modes (ie with brackets etc.) are still not supported
- PPC680x0 Native Mode may cause problems when called from PPC680x0. Only
(nested or non-nested) macro calls may be affected by this
- Parts of the conversion code have been rewritten many years ago, this
may or may not cause problems. Actually it has not been tested yet!
- PowerUp mode is untested and probably does not work or produces garbage
