This is a complete port of the Icon 9.1 programming language for the
amiga. (Icon 9.1, amiga port 1.0)

Icon is a high level interpreted language which excells at string handling
and rapid prototyping, though it is a general, elegant programming 
language.

This port does NOT have the graphics functions, unfortunately. However,
it can communicate with Arexx hosts.

You need the ixemul library to use it (not included in this archive).

Proper documentation for Icon as well as the Icon Programming Library is
available from ftp.cs.arizona.edu

To recompile icon, you also need the original source (from 
ftp.cs.arizona.edu), a port of unix patch, and a decent part of ade 
(gnu-utils + gcc)
