This archive contains 68000, 68020 and 68040 optimised versions of the
PackDir client for Dirk Stoecker's XAD system - util/arc/xadmaster.lha -
and also includes the source code to this client.

To install, unpack this archive somewhere and double click on the Install
icon. The appropriate version of the client will automatically be
installed.

--- About the client ---

!PackDir is a RISC OS archiver written by John Kortink. It is a
fast archiver, but not as popular as the !SparkFS combined file-system
and archiver. The compression used is LZW -- the same as compress(1)
and the GIF image format. My thanks go to John Kortink for providing
me with the file format of his archiver.
