The IRC users companion - V 1.4
In this archive, there are two files. One is an Amigaguide
version and the other a text based version. (The Amigaguide
one is sutible for Amigas >2.0 only who have an Amigaguide
compatible viewer of sorts)
It is basically a list of IRC channels that are available
to be visited along with a short discription of what each
channel entails. There is also a jargon section which lists
many phrases that you may come across when using IRC, E-mail,
Newsgroups etc.
At the moment, the files are far from complete. The channels
list HAS been updated and has now got plenty more channels
to keep you amused. However, we still need more! The jargon
area is still very sparse and we are loooking for comments on
the file. As always, we also need as many channels as you have.
As of this version, we have added a new area which contains
some smilies and their discriptions. We would also be greatful
to receive any contribututions for this area.
If you have any channels and/or jargon that you would like to
see included in the files, send them to us in a plain ASCII
file to this address :
Cool96@jinxster.demon.co.uk
If you send channels, it would be helpful for us if you could
include a short discription of what each channel entails. :)
We are always happy to accept comments about the files. If you
have any complaints or comments, send them to the above address.
We look forward to receiving your contributions! :)
LumberJak.
BTW, if you send us anything, you WILL get a mention. :))))))
