MiniConnect4 brings the classic Connect Four game back to the Amiga,
enhanced with modern online features, a three-level AI opponent,
and a flexible lobby infrastructure. It runs as a native Workbench
application in classic Amiga style and offers local matches, computer
games, and online duels through a lobby.
For quick online play, a public lobby server is available.
This means MiniConnect4 can be used online right away: players can
see others in the lobby, send game invitations, and start matches.
If you prefer more control, you can also run your own lobby,
either on a local network or over the Internet. The included server
component runs on Linux systems and is well suited for small devices
such as a Raspberry Pi.
MiniConnect4 also includes a playable computer opponent with three
difficulty levels, so you can practice offline or enjoy a quick game
at any time. Online games support chat, invitations, and rematches.
After a match, both players can immediately agree to play again.
Chip colors remain assigned to the same players, while the winner
of the previous game starts the rematch.
MiniConnect4 is designed for AmigaOS 1.3, keeps resource usage modest,
and uses classic Intuition menus and windows. Colors, language, and
game mode can be configured directly inside the program.
