are running Producer version 2.34 or better.
ANIMS is a standard Producer effect plug-in like the many of the
previous effects currently within Producer (CG, Covers, Slides etc).
The executables for the plug-ins (or modules) are located in the
Producer:Modules directory. This particular effect module allows
standard Amiga IFF animations to be used to create custom A/B Roll
transitions (with or without a graphical overlay). Using the
standard ANIM formats means video effects can be very simply
designed using you favourite paint package (Personal Paint, Deluxe
Paint, Brilliance etc).
The types of animation supported are:-
* 720x480 NTSC
* 720x576 PAL
* 2 - 256 colours (No HAM animations)
* Grey scales for alpha channel emulation
* Multiple or single colour palette support
* Animations without loop frames (some anims have two additional
frames at the end of the sequence). Extra frames can be simply
removed for compatibility.
