These patches will bring CanDo v3.008 up to v3.011.
The idea behind this update is to provide some Quality of Life
improvements to the existing framework of version 3.008. The aim
is to make all of the windows larger; up to 190 pixels in depth,
to maintain compatibility with NTSC standards.
These larger windows can handle longer listers, and larger buttons.
Some of these windows did not have an Exit button, so exit buttons
have been added and made larger. The total number of items listed
is also shown on each window, as some useful extra information.
Some windows have had their buttons moved over to the Right, with
the lister on the left. This saves time when closing them, and
leaves the mouse pointer close to the icons to choose
something else. The Lexicon Assistant can now have any word
entered into it, and it will find that word without needing any
#? wildcards. The Calculator also has some new buttons.
Installation:
Just copy these files over you existing V3.008. The files in the
root directory set up the layout of the object and editor tools
on the tool bar. If you prefer your existing positions of these
icons, you dont need to copy these files over. The CanDo.info
is also optional, and makes sure the editor is displayed in
interlaced mode.
