Forum-Amiga (FA) is a german disk magazin. In special it is not like other
mags because the texts on this disk are a collection of the work of a lot of
writing people.
The range of the subjects of the texts is very wide. So there will be
interesting stuff for nearly everybody. But (and this is a big but ;o)) the
most important point of information is FD soft.
If you want to install the Forum-Amiga on floppy disk just format a DD-disk
whith name "FA-26" and extract the whole archive to this disk. Because of some
copyrights some files had been removed from the original Forum disk. So you
have to copy them by hand. Take your original workbench disk and copy the
following files from this to the appropriate directories on the FA disk:
c/Assign
Copy
EndCLI
Execute
FF
Path
run
SetMap
Stack
devs/printer.device
l/Disk-Validator
Port-Handler
Ram-Handler
libs/diskfont.library
icon.library
iff.library
version.library
After making the new disk bootable ("install dfx:") you may instert it in df0:
and restart your Amiga.
If you want to install the Forum-Amiga on harddisk just create a directory
whith any Name. Copy the directories "Guide", "TeX", "Zusatz" and the files
"#26_intro" and "FORUM-AMIGA" and the .info files to this directory.
After assigning "FA-26:" to this directory the FORUM-AMIGA program may be
started by double klicking the Icon.
