Description:

The simplest way to install the old games on OS4/MOS.
It can work on AROS (not tested).

Version 0.6 introduces simple experimental install script!

Users of the previous version must copy dospath.library (from wbstart archive)
to Libs: (on the emulated OS3 HD) - it will work now correctly with WHDLoad



!!!!!!!!!!!!Caution!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although I don¡t think that your data could be damaged by my scripts, I
recommend backuping your data.



Features (and limitations):
1) Simple installation (...)
2) Once installed, you can integrate all your old games in OS4/MOS by drag&drop.
3) Integrated games have their "original" icon and you can run them by
doubleclick in Ambient/OS4WB 4) Supports executable files (Ambermoon), WHDLoad
installed games (Abandoned Places) or scripts (Battle Chess)
5) Supports Classic, NewIcon and PNG icons (GlowIcons supported only on emulated
OS3.5+, on OS3.1 scripts work only with the old image, new image is lost)
6) Only one file per drawer can be integrated

Installation:

Simple installation (recommended)
0) Assign UAE: where you have UAE installed (best in user-startup)
1) Download AnIdeaOS4plusUAE from Aminet and extract it to RAM:
2) Download archives mentioned above (in requirements) to RAM:
3) Doubleclick on the Preinstall icon in RAM:AnIdeaOS4plusUAE/
4) Follow on screen instructions


Installation by hand

EmulationPart (your emulated HD - 3.1 etc)

Copy RunfromWB to C:
copy E to C:
copy ProcessIcon to C:
Copy Wbstart.library to Libs:
copy dospath.library to Libs:
replace S:startup-sequence by EmulationPart/S/startup-sequence
copy TSIcon to Sys:WBStartup
copy EmulationPart/WBStartup/TSIcon.info to Sys:WBStartup
copy EmulationPart/UAE/#? to Sys:uae
Edit Sys:UAE/startScript
(type your .uaerc configuration file, default is pavlor.uaerc)


UAE configuration (AmigaOS 4 or MorphOS side)

assign UAE: "where you have UAE installed" - recommended in user-startup
Edit UAE:"your .uaerc configuration file"
As DH0 type your emulated system disk
As DH1 type Pavlor: (filesystem2=rw,DH1:Pavlor:Pavlor:,0)

Now, if you want "install" HD games for your favorite OS, run UAE (with
mentioned OS31 HD as DH0 - system disk - and mount drives, where you have
installed your old games.
When you are in OS31, you can see AmigaClassic AppIcon. Drag the game icons on
it and all other goes automatically



How it works:

Drag original game icon (for example Ambermoon) on the AmigaClassic appicon.
New start icon (same image, positon and name as the original icon) with start
script are created. Original icon (and file) are renamed as GStart
(Gstart.info).

Now all looks as before, but you can start the game by doubleclick on the
"original" icon in Ambient or OS4 WB!
