" D i v i n e D a r k n e s s "
A Neurodancer production released under the Phase Distortion Label
I n f o
This is a guest release under the PHD label, I am not a member of PHD
anymore. We just want to show you out there that I did not leave this group
in war or anger. It was just some "disharmonies", not from the musical, but
from the personal side. :) Nothing worth to mention, though.
T h i s & T h a t
This is another fresh goa/psychedelic trance module. Goa rooles big time,
what a bright light in all those masses of dub, drum&bass and monotonous
club-oriented techno. The proof that simplistique melodies haven't died for
the sake of some "spooky" percussive pattern nonsense! :)
Goa is one of the best looking ways in the future of techno. Even the
experiences we made with the doorkeeper at the only south german
psychedelic trance club did upset us quite a bit. Driving one hour just to
hear "sorry, only selected audience tonight" ain't fun. Bet we were
looking too un-clubby or somewhat. This sucked. But then again, how can you
expect a doorkeeper to understand the phenomena of goa addiction?
Making this module was quite interesting... I originally planned to use
that breakbeat pattern only as a break, but when I mixed it with my
"normal" drumpattern and heard the result, it was clear that I'd use it in
the whole song! :) And please, don't ask me what took me when I created
that drastic change after about half of the song, I thought it would be
funny to change the ... hell, what is "Tonart" in english?!? Egal!
As of writing this, I'm listening to a tape that a friend of mine forgot in
my precious 800,- DM car (no joke!). Its some sorta crappy post-acid stuff,
how boring! I just missed Pooh The Bear on TV in addition, and besides
that major dissonances I fell in love with a girl that obviously does not
want me to be her boyfriend. Don't tell me life suxxn't!
