aw2m v1.1 (C) 2009-2013 Lorence Lombardo.
WTF is aw2m ?
aw2m converts AIF/WAV Audio to IFF-MAUD format.
My main motivation for writing this program was that I wanted a program
which could write 12, 24 and 32 bits for testing purposes.
Since I did not have such a program I decided to write one.
I have also added compression ID "9" for floating point audio.
Although this is not really compression it is the same principal used by
AIFC and WAV file types to identify floating point audio.
Hopefully this will be accepted as an offical standard within the amiga
community.
Usage:-
aw2m <in_file> <out_file> [bit] [fre] [chan] [I/U/F] [F]
I=intel, U=unsigned, F=float
eg. aw2m Noonan.wav Noonan.maud
If the first three optional parameters are supplied after the "<out_file>"
parameter, then the input file will be treated as RAW data.
aw2m is also "PIPE:" friendly.
Feeling bored ? :)
