WHAT'S NEW?

  * Thanks to Immo Mueller de Vries who sent me a comprehensive bug
    report/suggestions.

  - Fixed: Empty tone map or drum map was causing errors.
  - Fixed: Opening more than one MrMIDI caused problems.
  - Fixed: 'No Repeat' was playing only 1 song instead of the whole list.
  - Fixed: Pressing close gadget more than once crashed the program.
  - Fixed: Pressing the close gadget or seleting 'Quit' from the menu
    while inserting MIDI files to the list made MrMIDI hang (Immo).
  - Added: Multi-select song list entries.
  - Added: Added menu entries for the song list window which are the same
    as menu entries for the player window.
  - Changed: Changed the role of 'Eject' button from show/hide song list
    to eject songs and added a new 'Song List' button (Sorken).
  - Added: Support for .MIDI extension in addition to .MID and .KAR.
  - Fixed: When inserting a lot of songs at once, not all files were
    added to the list (Immo).
  - Fixed: 'ReadMIDI' was fixed again since some karaoke files were not
    recognised (Immo).
  - Fixed: A filename with spaces were causing problems (Immo).
  - Fixed: Maximum polyphony was 32 instead of 64 (Immo).
  - Fixed: Some MIDI files could crash the system due to a bug in
    'ReadMIDI' (Immo).
  - Fixed: Making 'Kill' resident caused 'object not of required type'
    error. It seems that this was caused by unarchiving the MrMIDI
    archive without preserving the protection bit. Using the new
    installer script should fix the problem.
  - Fixed: The installer script was not checking for version/revision
    number for 'rexxutil.library'.
  - Added: Support for XPK compressed MIDI files.
  - Fixed: When there was no song in the song list and selected next or
    previous song, it was making arithmatic conversion error.
  - Fixed: When cancelled saving a song list and then cancelled loading
    a song list, it was reloading the same song list which it shouldn't.


WHAT IS IT?

  MrMIDI is a GUI frontend for GMPlay using MUIRexx. It supports many
  of the features provided in GMPlay with intuitive interface.

  - Easy to use interface.
  - Strong song list manipulation.
  - User can change settings while playing the music or stopped.
  - Drag & drop MIDI files from Workbench.
  - Total song play time display.
