DO NOT BE AFRAID... this post is only 186k--the 9 parts thing is becuase 
of a bottleneck with my mailer...

here is a repost of the second fractal I ever did, but it is still one 
of my very favorites, and pretty spectacular IMHO. This repost is for 
those who either missed it or couldn't decode it first time around.

best described as a mandelbrot "tree-branch" battern superimposed upon a 
Julia set vortex-shape, with a funky blue-violet-silver color scheme.
