My Amiga - Lightwave Render ©1999 Trevor Morris
Quite simply, this is the just a Lightwave 5.6 render of my desktop.
The image on the screen is an actual screen capture of my Workbench (which has been
replaced by Directory Opus Magellan II). And, yes, that is really the
mouse pad that I use ;-)
All objects (except the mug and the pencil - which came with
Lightwave) were modelled (in Lightwave) by me over a long period of
time. I just built things whenever I got some free time. As time went
on, the scene grew more realistic. I wonder if it will ever be
complete? Even now I am thinking of other things I could add o make
it look more realistic and I want to play with the lighting some
more...
I have posted several sizes of this image on aminet, so download the
one which suits you're needs:
* aminet/pix/trace/MyAmiga800.lha - contains an 800x600 JPEG as well
as a 128 color GIF for those of you who want to use this as a
background image on an 8-bit screen.
* aminet/pix/trace/MyAmiga1024.lha - contains an 1024x768 JPEG as
well as a 128 color GIF for those of you who want to use this as a
background image on an 8-bit screen.
* aminet/pix/trace/MyAmiga1280.lha - contains only a 1280x1024 JPEG
(let's face it, if you can display this, you don't need a 128 color
version ;-)
Anyway, there is nothing else I can think of to mention here, so
enjoy; and drop me a line if you have any questions.
