30 years later, I recreated my text editor on Amiga!
Version 2.2 brings a number of fixes and enhancements:
- Removal of ASE2019-specific clipboard;
- Improved integration of Amiga clipboard;
- Improved undo/redo (settings and groups);
- Integration of a Terminal mode for ARexx commands;
- Limitation of temporary memory usage;
- Improvement of overall application performance;
- 2 new AREXX commands: ListSearchOcc, MessageStatusBar;
- Bug fixes (DSI) under AmigaOS 4.1.
Please do not hesitate to contact me (webmalf@protonmail.com) if you encoun-
ter a bug, and I will correct it. The integration of two important developments
(text folding and automatic line wrapping) has been abandoned: too complicated.
I will have to thoroughly review ASE2019 (ouch), I started with a new linked
list manager (GLCex) for managing documents, changes (undo/redo), sessions and
macros. The hardest part remains to be done with document data management!
If you want to participate to the localization of ASE2019 (the file ASE2019.cs
to use with SimpleCat is in the archive).
To use ASE2019, you can install it using the installation script provided. If
you prefer to use it directly from the directory in the archive, I recommend
that you refer to the 'Installation' section of the documentation for more in-
formation.

30 ans après, j'ai recréé mon éditeur de texte sur Amiga !
La version 2.2 apporte des corrections et quelques évolutions:
- Retrait du presse-papier spécifique à ASE2019 ;
- Amélioration de l'intégration du presse-papier de l'Amiga ;
- Amélioration d'annuler/refaire (paramétrage et groupes) ;
- Intégration d'un mode Terminal pour les commandes ARexx ;
- Limitation de l'utilisation de la mémoire temporaire ;
- Amélioration des performances globales de l'application ;
- 2 nouvelles commandes AREXX : ListSearchOcc, MessageStatusBar ;
- Correction de bogues (DSI) sous AMigaOS 4.1.
Ne pas hésiter à me contacter (webmalf@protonmail.com), si vous rencontrez un
bogue, je le corrigerai. L'intégration de 2 évolutions importantes (pliage de
texte et retour automatique à la ligne) a été abandonnée : trop compliquée. Il
va falloir revoir en profondeur ASE2019 (aïe), j'ai démarré avec un nouveau
gestionnaire de listes chainées (GLCex) pour la gestion des documents, des
changements (undo/redo), des sessions et des macros. Le plus dur reste à faire
avec la gestion des données du document !
Si vous désirez participer à la localisation d'ASE2019 (le fichier ASE2019.cs
à utiliser avec SimpleCat est dans l'archive).
Pour utiliser ASE2019, il est possible de l'installer au moyen du script d'
installation fourni. Si vous préférez l'utiliser directement depuis le réper-
rtoire présent dans l'archive, je vous conseille de vous rendre à la section
'Installation' de la documentation pour plus d'information.
