RequestFile is a freely redistributable clone of the Shell command
supplied as part of AmigaDOS 3.0 (V39).

This is an update of "requestfile.lha". The behaviour of the programs
are now more compatible with Commodore-Amiga's version.

I am told that the version for V38 is still a wee bit smaller than the
official version 39.2 :-)

This archive contains two versions: one for release 2.04 (V37.2) and one
for 2.1 (V38.2). The reason for two versions is that even though
RequestFile for V37 works all right under V38 (and newer releases),
Commodore-Amiga made so many improvements to asl.library between V37
and V38, that it would be a shame not to take advantage of them. :)

Even if you already have a RequestFile command, this archive may be a
good starting point for a custumized version.

A little bug has been fixed in 2006 by suppah:

When drag'n'dropping a file on the ASL panel in DRAWERSONLY mode
v38.2 returned also the unnecessary filename. This was a problem
for some scripts and also for OS3.5 REXX:THE/OpenSelDrawer.rexx.

The bugfix has been applied to the V38 version only. The new fixed
version is only in that drawer in this archive.
