English and German description. Deutsch folgt im unteren Teil.

1.4) Recompiled for the 68000. No speedloss for other CPUs.
1.3) Fixed a MuForce ZeroPageReadHit caused by GetTagData().
1.2) Bugfix in UnpackStructureTags(). Thanks to Chris Hodges.
This solves some conflicts with the Poseidon USB-stack.
1.1) Bugfix in PackBoolTags(), because C:status was wrong.

TagLiFE is a simple patch for the utility.library to install a
new set of optimized assembler routines to get a faster TagList
support. I've rebuilt all these functions totally from scratch
in order to avoid a lot of needless and time wasting subroutine
calls and unnecessary stack and register usage as well as many
other redundant branches and commands.

Furthermore, TagLiFE eleminates a potential risk of getting a
systemcrash in some rare cases caused by a dangerous procedure
in the ROM-function CloneTagItems(), which does not switch off
the multitasking during the copy routine. Whenever another task
uses RefreshTagItemClones() or other means to change the source
TagList while the copy is still running, it could happen, that
CloneTagItems runs out of memory and trashes the next memblock.
This problem has been solved in the new routine of this patch.

Since AmigaOS 2.0 TagLists and TagItems are used in many parts
of the operating system and also by quite a number of programs,
although the related functions in the utility.library are not
really executed very frequently, so don't expect any miracles.
If your mouse won't move much faster after installing TagLiFE,
that's just because it will hardly ever feed on TagLists :)

[Copy TagLiFE to C: and start it from your S:startup-sequence]

################### GERMAN ########## DEUTSCH #################

 1.4) 68000-Version, kein Geschwindigkeitsverlust für 020+ CPUs.
1.3) Beseitigt einen MuForce ZeroPageReadHit in GetTagData().
1.2) Bugfix in UnpackStructureTags(). Vielen Dank Chris Hodges.

neuen Satz optimierter Assembler-Routinen zwecks schnellerer

Erwarte also keine Wunder.
