Head  is  a  simple utility that outputs just a few of the first lines of
  any  file.  It is just like the type command of AmigaDOS, but it types just
  the first lines of files.  It may be used to peek at the contents of a text
  file  without  having to edit or type the entire file.  It works both under
  WB1.3  and  WB2.0.  This is version 1.0, and includes portable source in C.
