You can find original GPL'ed sources in biz/dopus directory of Aminet. Same
applies to the sources of this version (GPL requirement)

Installation:

copy DirectoryOpus4/C c: all
copy DirectoryOpus4/Libs LIBS: all
assign DOpus: DirectoryOpus4

This should work. If it won't then play with SnoopDOS or get original
Directory Opus 4.12 and replace files with those found in this
distribution.


Changes:
- recompiled with GCC 2.95.2 and PhxAss 4.39
- optimized for 68020 CPU
- directly uses memory pools in KickStart 3.0+.
- speeded-up file copying with progress indicator enabled (almost as fast
as in DOpus Magellan!)
- added up-to-date asyncIO routines (from aminet:dev/c/asyncio.lha)
- doesn't hang-up during copying/moving files anymore (probably due to new asyncIO
routines).

Future (in no particular order - vote for most wanted!):
- file viewer as a window on WB
- 24-bit support for internal picture viewer
- Gadtools gadgets (where possible)
- datatypes support (optional)
- direct XPK support (optional)
- locale support (not very likely as currently DOpus has some kind of
localization through .STR files but they're not provided with sources so I
don't know exactly how they're constructed.)
- improve copy progress indicator's accuracy lost due to a speed-up.
- correct displaying very big files in file viewer
- PPC-based line counting (optional)
- easy switching filelist sort type
- user-selected appicon

Bugs:
- copy progress indicator lost some of its accuracy because of speed-up.
- GURUes after exiting from file viewer if search function was in use (same
happens in original version).
- support for dynamic-palette IFFs (SHAM, DHiRes) is reverse-engineered
(sources for pchg.lib weren't provided) and untested as I don't have such
pictures.
