This is a collection of a little over 100 quotations from musicologists
and composers throughout history.  They were collected, without
permission, from _The Enjoyment Of Music_, a music history textbook
written by Joseph Machlis with Kristine Forney (ISBN 0-393-95950-3).

The datafile is formatted for use by Quip, the Fortune Cookie Program from
Hell (available in /aminet/util/cli as quip7e.lha).  Of course, a good text
editor can probably modify this to work with any other fortune cookie
program.

The quotations can get somewhat technical in nature, so its audience may
be somewhat limited <frown>.  It is not always humourous, but it is always
pertaining to music (although, sometimes, in rather loose ways).
