Description:

  These archive contains a set of utilities to split, join and
  compare binary files. There are versions for Amiga and PC,
  where files splitted by any one of the split tools can be
  joined by any one of the join tools.

  The main purpose of these utilities is to transfer large files
  from one computer to an other using floppy disks.

Archive content:
================
  There are three executables for the Amiga:

    doSplit    14108 bytes
    doJoin     12384 bytes
    doCompare   7304 bytes

  This archive includes another archive in ZIP format containing the
  versions for x86 compatible computers named "splijo86.zip". To use it
  transfer it to a PC and extract it with WinZip for example.

  In the PC archive there are two utilities for DOS:
    split.exe
    join.exe

  And there is a combined GUI version for Windows:
    splijo.exe

Usage:
======
  Please type "progname -?" for any of the command line tools
  to get help. The Windows version has a built in help page.
