Description:
-----------
 UnCPS-AGA is a tool to VIEW westwood's CPS/CMP picture format
 and to pack/unpacked datas or pictures in CPS format

 It was tested with amiga EOB1 & 2 files and PC VGA EOB1 & 2 files
 (EOB1 VGA files extracted with tool WESTPAK2 (TOOL for PC users))

Needed:
------
- OS 3.0+
- reqtools.library v2.0+
- westwoodtool.library v1.0 (included)
- 68020 (chunky2planar routine)

Features: 
--------
- VIEW or V command to try to view a CPS/CMP VGA or 32 colors picture.
  (if you load a file named 'NAME.CPS', aumatically inside palettes is used
   but if palette is not found a file named 'NAME.COL' is loaded 

- PACK or P command to pack a file in CPS format (Method 4: FORMAT80)
  (If no OUPUT file is defined (using SAVEGAME parameter) a file with
   '.CPS' extension is saved)

- UNPACK or U command to unpack a CPS/CMP compatible file (Method 4: FORMAT80)
  (If no OUPUT file is defined (using SAVEGAME parameter) a file with
   '.RAW' extension is saved)

- C2P (Chunky2Planar) command to convert a VGA picture (Chunky RAW format)
   in 8 bitmaps amiga RAW format (Files size must be $fa00 octets).
  (If no OUPUT file is defined (using SAVEGAME parameter) a file with
   '.BITMAP' extension is saved)

- P2C (Planar2Chunky) command to convert an Amiga picture (8 bitmaps RAW format)
   in a VGA chunky RAW format file (Files size must be $fa00 octets).
  (If no OUPUT file is defined (using SAVEGAME parameter) a file with
   '.CHUNKY' extension is saved)

- VCN command to display PC VGA or Amiga ECS pictures using Westwood's VCN
format.
  All 8x8 blocks, background & Wallsets are shown using ".VMP" file 
  (Inside palette are used (ECS) or external ".PAL" or ".COL" palette are
loaded)

- SAVEFILE or S parameter to define name of OUTPUT file

- COLORFILE or C parameter to define name of the palette to load
  (AMIGA 32 colors palette file must have a size of 64 octets,
   PC 256 colors palette file must have a size of 768 octets)

Installation:
------------
copy 'UnCPS-AGA' in your workbench's folder 'C:'

copy last 'westwoodtool.library' in your workbench's folder "LIBS:"

 AGA conversion, you can contact me via email to send anything or financial 
 contributions or just a friendly message ;)

 1) support for method 1 packed files (wizard.CPS)
 2) perhaps an dungeon explorer using 'MAZ' Files
