New with 1.2:
  - recompiled with GCC 3.3, now 11% faster compression!
  - removed all references to AbsExecBase
    (should improve performance a lot!)
  - updated to zlib 1.1.4

xpkGZIP is a new version of a xpk compressor using zlib. Its intended as
an update for xpkGZIP10.lha created 1995 by Antonio Schifano. Since zlib
was improved significantly over the years (notably 1998) this new version
is faster on compression as well as on decompression. Compatibility with
the old xpkGZIP (v1.0) compressor was retained.

zlib is a general purpose data compression library.
