though also works (via LoadModule) on Os 2.0 and up.

Functionality:
This program allows to use ViNCEd as Boot shell, replacing the ROM-based
con-handler. For Os 3.1.4 or below, you also need LoadModule, and a reboot
is required. For Os 3.2, installation and usage is immediate, without
any reboot and without modifying the startup-sequence.

Installation:
For Os 3.2 or above:
- Copy CON-Handler (in this archive) to L:. Nothing else is required.
ViNCEd will be your boot shell on the next reboot. The startup-sequence
does not require *ANY* modification.
- In case you need the original CON-Handler back, disable
"Upgrade ROM Modules" in the boot menu or delete L:Con-Handler.
For Os 3.1.4 or before:
- Copy CON-Handler to L:
- If there is already "LoadModule AUTO" or "LoadModule" in your
startup-sequence, you are done.
- If there is a Loadmodule line with customized arguments in your startup-
sequence, add "L:Con-Handler" to its arguments.
- If there is not yet a LoadModule call in your startup-Sequence, then
- copy LoadModule (in this archive) to C:
- Add the following line to your startup-sequence,
ideally upfront SetPatch:
LoadModule L:Con-Handler
- The next reboot will use ViNCEd for the shell.

Release 106.2:
This release now allocates more stack (4K) if the default stack
allocated for the console is not sufficient. Unfortunately, Os
3.1 and before only reserve 1K of stack space for the console handler,
which is insufficient for ViNCed.
