       GTPropPatch - Pacifying GadTools PROPNEWLOOK fans

OVERVIEW

This enables PROPNEWLOOK knobs/scroll bars in GadTools gadgets on a plain
AmigaOS 3.2 system (replacing AmigaOS 3.2's FRAME_PROPKNOB frameiclass image
type). It also works with AmigaOS 3.1 (probably even AmigaOS 2.04/2.1, but
Massimo couldn't test that).

This patch was originally made for personal use, but a little while later, I
requested (and obtained) Massimo's kind permission to share it with other Amiga
users. Please direct any questions or thoughts about this patch to him--he's
the author, and I can't program to save my life. :)

Why PROPNEWLOOK? Some of us Amiga users love it and have been missing it! :) So
if you like the way AmigaOS 3.2 looks, but prefer Commodore's PROPNEWLOOK
scroll bars added in AmigaOS 3.0, this patch is for you!

IMPORTANT NOTICE

The only drawback to this patch is that it cannot be used alongside
VisualPrefs, as the two patches would clash.

DISCLAIMER

This patch doesn't affect the new FRAME_PROPKNOB frameiclass image type used in
3.2's ReAction GUIs (e.g. ShowConfig); only GadTools GUIs (e.g. the standard
Prefs editors, ASL file/screenmode requesters, etc.)

INSTALLATION

You can either launch it (with "Run >NIL:") from your S:User-startup file, or
simply copy the program and its icon into your WBStartup drawer.
