This is (was) the first disk cruncher which uses xpk libraries to crunch
disks like DMS. The First version was released in January or February of
1995 and it wasn't successful, because it was to early and to unknown. I
delayed with the programing and releasing a new version, too. This version
could be released at the end of July. And so it come that I haven't done
the things I wanted to and would be necesary to make it competitive with
DMS if ever.
I suggest you try the program (be aware that Split/S and Repack/S aren't
working in this release) and send me your opinions, suggestions, money :),
whatever. Just send me an E-mail that you like or mislike the program and
I'll be happy.
The best result is achieved so:
MDC DF0: To RAM:X Packer Shri Mode 100 Step 8
But please don't use this packer with a processor <68020 and without FAST
RAM.
Use this instead:
MDC DF0: To RAM:X Packer Nuke Mode 100 Step 8
Or the fastest:
MDC DF0: To RAM:X Packer Fast Mode 79 Step 8
MDC starts crunching data from disk or decrunching to disk without
waiting for a pressed key. If you want this you should use WFK flag.
