Introduction
------------

MtA is actually the best Videotext emulation program available for Commodore
Amiga (tm). The complete emulation of Prestel, Teletel and TTY (Ascii)
support , with many options, makes this program the ideal one for any kind
of users from the chats to the professional services.

MtA allow an easy way to connect to systems that use the CEPT2 (i.e. French
MiniTel) and CEPT3 (i.e. English Prestel or Australian Viatel) emulation.


Hardware and Software required
------------------------------

MtA works on every Amiga with at least 1.0 MB of RAM  and an S.O. 1.2 or
greater. With only 512K it is possible to run the program and use it, but you
will have some limitations on the number of requesters/menu displaied.
It's possible to use alternative serial devices (i.e. multiserial devices or
internal modems).


MtA GUI
-------

The user interface of MtA has been studied to allow an easy access to every
function of the program both by the mouse or keyboard. Also if it looks
like other amiga softwares interfaces, gives a lot of advantages.
Let's see them:

- The menues are POP-UP , that means that they appear under the pointer
  when you press the right mouse button and disappears when you press it
  again.

- During the display of the user interface data arrive from the serial and
  are saved in a buffer to avoid to loose them.

- It is possible to select a menu or a submenu using the keyboard: to every
  voice of the menu it is attribuited a number from 1 to the last item of it.
  I.e. to select the submenu "DEVICE" it is possible to click on the
  "PARAMETERS" menu and then on "DEVICE" or by pressing the key "5"(the
  "PARAMETERS" menu is the fifth) and then the key "4" ("DEVICE").
