----------------
1.1 11-03-20: Fixed some errors
1.0 26-05-98: First public release
SYNTAX
------
SCR2GIF [-f] filename[.scr] ...
-f Convert FLASHing screens to GIF89a animated GIF files.
Wildcards are fully supported, so you can use "*.scr" to convert all SCR files
in a directory at once.
ANIMATED GIF LIMITATIONS
------------------------
- Only plays in Netscape 2.0 or better, but does work on many platforms
(Windows, Mac, Amiga, Unix, etc) - even when cached!
- It cannot be used as a background GIF. Only the first image will display.
- Non-supporting browsers either display the FIRST image (eg. Cello, Microsoft
Internet Explorer, Netcruiser, NCSA Mosaic, Quarterback Mosaic or Netscape
Navigator before v2.0) or the LAST image (eg. AOL2.5 or SUN's HotJava).
RECOMPILING THE SOURCE
----------------------
The source is provided in fully portable ANSI C, the source text is written in
132 columns.
If you make any fundamental change to the source, you are requested - but not
obligated - to send the changed source back to me, so that everyone can benefit
from it. My e-mail address is `mheide()gns.getronics.nl'
Enjoy!
