akPNG.datatype

Program information
-------------------
akPNG.datatype is a PNG datatype, which is based on the latest
stable PNG sources (zlib V1.2.3, libpng version 1.2.29).
It does support 8 Bit color mapped files (colorspace expanded to
8 bit per component always) and True color files (24/48 Bit, alpha
channel supported in V43 mode, 48 Bit 16:16:16 cut down to 24 Bit 8:8:8).

WARNING: if the pic-dt of your OS version does not support alpha channel
handling, then always set STRIPALPHA=ON (no ARGB/RGBA)

- reduced memory consumption for 8 bit (68k)
- fixed minor one-time mem-leak caused
by V45.83 changes
- improved MOS startup code
- finally removed dithering settings code
- removed some obsolete prefs settings
- documented all prefs settings again
- Prefs: made the labels easier to understand,
especially the alpha settings
